Summer in Nepal

I got the award! The Summer Language Abroad grant at Notre Dame has generously agreed to fund my language course in Kathmandu this summer, and I couldn’t be more excited. (…or nervous. That’s a lot of language in a small amount of time, but what else would a comparativist do with their summer?)

I haven’t been back to Nepal since before the earthquake, so I’m looking forward to getting back there to see things for myself. (If anyone knows any post-disaster rebuilding organizations, let me know!)

Hope everyone’s summer is safe and productive!
